1) Press and hold the Windows Key and then press x key
2) Select the Apps and Features item in the menu by let going of Windows key and pressing F (for Features)
3) Select the Programs and Features link on the right side of the page.
3) Select the Turn Windows feature on or off on left side of page
4) Select the “Windows subsystem for Linux” checkbox
5) Press OK and restart your computer
6) Open up the Windows Store and search for Ubuntu
7) Click Ubuntu, which is probably the most popular, and install
8) Click launch or use keyboard shortcut (Windows Key + X, then press A for the Command Prompt with Administrative privileges, then type in the new opened window: bash)
10) run the command “sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y” to update and upgrade the underlying linux software
